The Best Way To Predict The Future Is By Creating It
Last update: 29 June, 2016

No tarot card is a true reflection of your future. Your destiny isn’t written in the stars, nor will luck and chance be the ones who say where you should be. Don’t expect a blow that will change your life when you least expect it if you’re always crouching. You can’t predict the future, but it’s your job to create one that is wonderful for you and yours.

However, remember that building a splendid and bright future is not a day’s work; even God didn’t create the world within hours. So think about it, go ahead and start creating your future today; you never know if tomorrow will be too late.

Opportunities of the future

The future is always uncertain. It presents itself full of opportunities, but they aren’t all necessarily going to be positive; anything can happen. However, it’s up to us to weigh the balance more on one side or the other. In that sense, we have the power to shape the future in our own image and likeness.

The future rewards those who press on. I don’t have time to feel sorry for myself. I don’t have time to complain. I’m going to press on.

We can now distinguish between two types of people who look towards the future. On the one hand, we have those who are shaken by fate, and chance and blame bad luck for their misfortune, versus those who do not complain. They grab the bull by the horns and face forward with hope and strength of being able to soon change what they do not like.
You’ll meet people who are easily shaken by destiny and the future. Those who are constantly complaining about their bad luck and how much they’re suffering in life. People who are led by the majority, without realizing it, without setting goals beyond what people say about them.
On the other hand, you’ll discover a select group of people who like to create their own future. People who enjoy the present, set goals, look at life with hope and work hard every day. They’re the ones creating their own future.

Close the door behind you and look ahead

If everything seemed to go wrong in your life, the last thing to do is to stay stuck in a phase of permanent dormancy by constantly complaining of your misfortunes. By doing that you’re leaving an open door, which will make other doors unable to open in its place. Think about it, because if that’s what you want in life, you will never be happy.

Sometimes we stare so long at a door that is closing that we see too late the one that is open.

In this day and age, it’s difficult to mold your own future, but it is possible to achieve the dreams and goals that we always dreamed of, but perhaps never believed strongly enough to go for them with the needed determination and courage.

A fantastic tool to create your own future is closing doors. The people who only bring negativity, the jobs that make you feel slighted, the relationships that make you bitter and unhappy…Give a good slam to what holds you back from the past, because only then can you look to the future.

It’s also very important to believe in yourself and in your dreams. If you think your dreams are stupid, unrealistic and impossible to meet, rest assured that they’ll never come true. But if you’ve set yourself a true dream in life, and you achieve it by  meeting intermediate goals along the way and going after them safely and honestly, there’s nothing that can get in your way.

Look inside you to make your dreams come true

In conclusion, I’d like to propose that you participate in a profound act of reflection. Look inside yourself, inside the depths of your heart. Be honest with yourself and start devoting a few minutes to yourself each day, starting now.

In them, you should start by taking anything out of your soul that makes you unhappy and keeps you in the past, and use the tools you have to see your dreams and desires come true.  Be strong, determined, courageous and persevere. I’ll be waiting for you in the future.

Know the true value of time; snatch, seize, and enjoy every moment of it. No idleness, no laziness, no procrastination: never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.
-Philip Stanhope-
