When I found you, my luck began to change
Jinxy Jenkins is an unfortunate young man completely enveloped in an world of bad luck. Lucky Lou, however, is incredibly lucky and everything around her is happy and positive. All of a sudden, on a day just like any other, they meet and everything changes.
Let’s see what happens:
As we have just seen, Jinxy Jenkins and Lucky Lou are two very different people. They live in two different realities that, maybe accidentally or maybe not so much, come together, causing an unexpected change in both of their lives.
And this is what happens to us in real life. Each one of us has our own individual way of seeing the world because of our past experiences. However sometimes, this can create difficulties for us.
When we meet a person and we fall in love, we let them into our world so they can know who we are. And with that, we too risk meeting a whole new world.
By meeting someone new, we each show ourselves to each other. We exchange visions, opinions, feelings, and gestures.
We begin to take the first steps in the dance of that relationship. And if those steps flow and are synchronized, the dance will go on.
But this dance is full of each partner’s unique style, and these will grow and change when necessary. In a certain way, relationships are about knowing how to change oneself to begin to build oneself.
It is the combination of these two universes, these two ways of life, that lays the foundation for a future relationship to grow and flourish.
Together we transform each other
What happens in the story of Jinxy Jenkins and Lucky Lou can also happen to anyone of us in our daily lives, only with a slightly different sequence of events.
Jinxy needs a little more luck in his life, and to broaden his world view that has been restricted by his constantly unlucky circumstances. Lucky Lou, on the other hand, needs to see that luck cannot always be on her side, and she may have to depend on others for help.
Sometimes, we find ourselves so anchored down to a particular way of seeing life that we think there is no other way. Then, a person appears who is able to show us a new perspective that we never even thought of.
Together we can transform each other’s worlds and offer support in difficult times. With this support, we can help each other grow both as individuals and as a couple. It is a reciprocal relationship in which we learn from each other how to see life through a different lens.
Once we have found each other, and our worlds have changed, it is impossible to go back to how we were before. Inevitably, because we have come into contact, a little bit of the essence of the other becomes a part of our soul.

Love is a mystery and experiencing it is something inexplicable. The reason why we choose some people and not others is completely unknown.
