I love you just the way you are. Thank you for coming into my life and accepting me as I am. Thank you for teaching me that true love is built from patience, genuine affection, and understanding.

I love you just the way you are. For your strengths as well as your weaknesses. For everything that makes you who you are. In fact, every day I get to know you a little more, which keeps my love for you alive.

I love you just the way you are. That’s why I’m dedicating these words to you. To remind you in case you should forget. To thank you for everything you give me every day. Because you’re teaching me to love openly, from the heart, whatever might happen along the way.

Thank you for being you. For showing yourself as you are. Sometimes you’re afraid, sometimes you’re strong, and sometimes you just want to make me laugh. To turn every moment into one to remember.

Thank you for staying around, for being there despite everything. For not judging and not expecting too much. Thank you because I know it isn’t always easy. Sometimes it’s difficult for you, sometimes for me, and sometimes for both of us. Thank you for always being so patient.

Thank you for being you. For showing me that love is more than just a happy smile. That understanding and taking a chance on what we feel strengthens us. Sometimes, you bring me down to Earth and put my feet back on the ground. You tell me the truth. You teach me how to love, slowly, and every day you tell me you love me.

Thank you for your courage. For opening up to me right from the start. You’re the greatest example of overcoming difficulties, improving yourself, and moving forward. I admire you.

Thank you for loving me even when I don’t deserve it. For accepting me despite my faults. For holding my hand. You accept all my weaknesses. In fact, little by little, you’re teaching me to love what I see as my flaws. However, you think of them as something else. You really help me grow.

I won’t deny it; I like that you accept my demons. My darkest parts. That, instead of fearing them, you embrace them. You keep teaching me that everything I’ve experienced and lived through has been necessary to get here, to get to you.

Every day, I choose you

I want to be by your side, whatever the weather. Having you is a gift I want to keep forever. Because you teach me that the simplest of things are the most valuable. In fact, have you ever realized what a good teacher you are? I think about it every day.

I love listening to you. Above all, when you talk and talk and tell me how you feel about things. Also, if I have doubts, you solve them, and if you can’t, you tell me.

I love to watch you, whether you’re asleep, awake, walking, or driving. I just can’t resist it. When I watch you, I feel I get to know you better and connect with the deepest of my feelings. I’m truly taken over by the most beautiful and intense feelings for you.

Your wisdom never ceases to amaze me but what I find really fascinating is the sensitivity you keep inside you and only sometimes show. However, although I need this serious side of you, I also want your fun side. Together, they’re what makes you who you are unique.

I love you no matter what

What can I say about your sincerity and your understanding? I have to tell you that it really isn’t easy to find someone like you. You know how to be my refuge. By your side, I feel calm and safe.

I love you just the way you are. I love you when you’re happy and when you’re sad. Because, although I love to see you smile, I know it isn’t always possible. Sometimes you get tired and disappointed. I just want you to know that I’m always here for you. To be by your side through all the good and the bad times.

I also love you when you get angry and upset. Yes, even then. Everyone gets angry. I see it as just another way of getting to know you, of you showing yourself to me. To get to know your boundaries, your hurt, and what you do to escape it. Also, when you prefer to take a step back to compose yourself, reflect, and decide what to do next.

It’s always so easy with you. You’re not hell-bent on being perfect, certainly not with me. For all this and much more, I’ve chosen you, because I love you just the way you are. My only wish is to be by your side in this little world we’ve created together, through the good times and the bad.
