Two Life Rules for Personal Power

Eastern philosophers have a particular way of seeing life. They say that your thoughts create your world, but the rules of personal power decide what happens or not.

The rules of personal power are patterns that can define or condition what happens to you. They stem from constant mental exercises and lead to certain situations, while keeping other situations away, creating a universal balance. Eastern cultures believe in this universal balance and that you just need to become a part of it.

Thus, this personal power stems from your thoughts. There are two life rules of personal power and they include the type of thoughts you should have to make everything work out for you.

“More than anything else, I believe it’s our decisions, not the conditions of our lives, that determine our destiny.”

Personal power

Some Eastern philosophies state that thoughts have limitless power. If you think of something, it’ll become true. According to this, if you let fear take a hold of your life, you’ll find yourself in scary situations. However, if you want to face your fears, your paths will become clearer as you go.

It’s not about magic or esoterism. It’s simply about making sure your mind pays attention to whatever it deems important. That’s why fear makes you see more threats. If an aggressive dog senses your fear, it’ll probably bark at you or even attack you. Fear tells others there’s something to be afraid of.

On the other hand, a calm mind that’s working on finding solutions will make even negative experiences transform themselves into something beautiful and constructive. A fire can make you save a life, for example. It depends on what you focus on.

Having a positive light is a rule for personal power.

Becoming a positive factor

Eastern philosophers state that the first rule of personal power is persevering on becoming the positive beacon of any situation. It takes one person to become a positive light.

Master Jan Anguita states that two people with incompatible thoughts will never find each other and won’t experience things together. It’s a similar concept to Jung’s synchronicity.

In short, if you decide to become a positive factor in every circumstance, you’ll find people who think the same way. Being one of the rules for personal power, all of this will happen because your mind is set on it and will work until you get it.

Love is one of the rules for personal power.

Believe that love can conquer all

The second rule states that, no matter what, love can conquer all. Eastern philosophers believe that a lack of love is a negative force. It doesn’t have enough power to project itself on the world. Love, however, has a lot of influence on everything that exists.

Master Jan Anguita summarizes this as a wonderful metaphor:

“A hundred people may be together in a dark room. However, if just one person lights a match, it’ll give enough light to the rest.”

Thus, love could be that match. One person full of love can shine a light on those around them.

The rules of personal power are so influential that, according to Eastern philosophers, if only one person decides to become a beacon of light and love, destruction and chaos can be avoided, under any circumstance. It doesn’t matter if someone opposes it.
