The Greatness of Good-Hearted People

The Greatness of Good-Hearted People

Last update: 05 September, 2020

Good-hearted people always pour their hearts and souls into everything. You can tell by the look in their eyes, their smile, and the good intentions behind their actions. These people are always there for you, willing to give you a hand. When you’re feeling sad, they’re the ones who try to get you to smile. You feel like you can lean on them when times are rough.

You might call them “healers”, “friends”, or even “magical”. Good-hearted people are always there to hug you and try to piece you back together after being broken down. Best of all, they feel happy when you succeed and achieve things. They always offer new experiences and help you see life from a different perspective.

It’s not hard to feel deeply connected to good-hearted people because they’re just magical. Being around them is amazing. They have the ability to touch your heart with their pure-intentioned actions and selflessness.

Let’s delve deeper into the characteristics of these amazing people.

“I think a hero is any person really intent on making this a better place for all people.”

-Maya Angelou-

Kindness as a sign of superiority

Good-hearted people have such big hearts that they’re able to share them with the people they love most. They do this mostly through kind acts to make other people happy. There’s nothing more comforting in their world than helping others and making their days a little better.

This is just how they are. Their kindness is something that can easily be seen. They’re also very patient when they listen to people. Since they just want to help, they’re not into yelling or pressuring others. On the contrary, they know how to interpret other people’s silences, they respect their time, and serve as a helping hand when needed.

“A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself.”

-Jim Morrison-

Good-hearted people have such a strong presence that you can’t help but feel good and calm around them. In addition, they’re usually fond of something they tend to keep secret. That thing is observing the glare in the eyes of those who have established a deep connection with happiness.

In fact, Charles Darwin talked about how important kindness was. He considered it our most valuable and most powerful instinct to help us survive. The problem is that we don’t practice kindness frequently and, at times, we don’t appreciate it when others do. One thing is certain: kindness is the best investment.

“There is one friend in the life of each of us who seems not a separate person, however dear and beloved, but an expansion, an interpretation, of one’s self, the very meaning of one’s soul.”

-Edith Warthon-

The strength of good-hearted people lies in their compassion

Compassion is another great quality in good-hearted people. Being able to put yourself in another person’s shoes isn’t always an easy thing to do. However, these people always make a great effort to help others so that they free themselves of their suffering and feel willing to move on and pursue happiness.

Love nourishes them in a deep way because they’re always selfless. They don’t expect others to do something for them in exchange. They actually feel amazing simply by making others feel good about themselves. Good-hearted people have a genuine desire to make those around them happy and motivated.

Tibetan master Thinley Norbu clearly described this capacity: “The essence of love is the compassion of sublime beings which always gives energy with inconceivable, positive qualities”.

“No good friends. No bad friends. Only people you want, need to be with; people who build their houses in your heart.”

-Stephen King-

Good-hearted people will always be there to offer you a helping hand.

Also, good-hearted people are full of compassion, kindness, and love. They’re people who, despite the distance, you can feel close to you because they break physical limits and simply connect with your soul.

They’re empathetic and they’ve mastered the art of understanding the pain of others, so much so that they’re able to feel it as if it were their own. They make an effort to understand other people’s scars and wounds and transform them into something beautiful. They try to transform them into something that they could perhaps use as a learning lesson or a beautiful experience.

Their secret weapons are love-filled gestures that come from the deepest parts of their hearts. Good-hearted people are always in the mood for radiating positive energy without expecting anything in return. They feel good by making others feel good.

If you ever meet someone like this, never let them go. They’re a beautiful treasure that will stay with you for a lifetime.

“The kinder and more intelligent a person is, the more kindness he can find in other people. Kindness enriches our life; with kindness mysterious things become clear, difficult things become easy and dull things become cheerful.”

-Leo Tolstoy-
