About the author
Graduate in Clinical and Health Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid. He holds the titles of expert in Educational Psychology and expert in Trauma Intervention. These are complemented by a Master's Degree in Brief Psychotherapy, a Master's Degree in Cognition Research, a Master's Degree in Emotion and Health, a Master's Degree in Psychology and Sports, and a Master's Degree in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. He's also a Doctor of Education and an expert in ADHD, learning disorders, and behavioral problems.
He currently directs Darwin Psychologists and is a professor at the School of Education at the Complutense University of Madrid. In addition, he teaches classes in the Psychology department at the Cardenal Cisneros University Center and at Rey Juan Carlos University.
He's the author of a variety of books, including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Between Pathology and Normality (2016), Emotional Education and Attachment. Practical Guidelines for Managing Emotions at Home and in the Classroom (2018), Stories for Emotional Development from Attachment Theory (2019), How to Stimulate the Child's Brain ( 2020), and Educating Through Bonding (2020).
Rafael Guerrero is a member of the Spanish Society of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy (SEMPP) as well as a regular contributor to the newspapers El País and Diario ABC. He has been a speaker at national and international conferences as well as the manager of a dozen research articles. He's a trainer for teachers and parents in numerous schools and educational centers in Spain.
