3 Ways To Give Your Attitude A Positive Spin

3 Ways To Give Your Attitude A Positive Spin

Last update: 28 July, 2022

We have the option to choose to live and enjoy an open, calm attitude towards emotions and to enjoy total well-being on the inside. Stop suffering by being brave enough to give yourself unconditional love.

Living with an open attitude involves changing some of our habits and beliefs. There are many who call this an act of maturity. And others prefer to say that it is simply the need for a change in perspective in our own personal reality, of each one of us.

At the end of the day, both possibilities seek to achieve a positive change of attitude. To achieve this, today I would love to invite you to consider three ways to give a positive spin to your attitude by learning to change your life and bringing out the best version of yourself.

Be thankful

Sometimes we overlook that the simplest thing is that which gives us a serene and happy experience, helping us to appreciate everything around us in an unimaginable way.

We forget many moments such as these which we should be thankful for. We should feel happy with opportunities that not everyone can have a chance to live. Honoring life and everything that happens in it because it has the power to give us the best feelings, teachings and experiences.

give thanks for being happy

Teachings and experiences that lead us to build the best version of ourselves: the true human essence. Based on the vital laws of everything, we belong to something bigger and that is something we all feel in each of our hearts.

Being thankful to the people who love us, to the fact of feeling and being alive, enjoying every experience and person unconditionally is necessary if you want to have a positive attitude. Giving thanks is recognizing and appreciating everything around you.

“A happy person does not have a particular set of circumstances, but a set of attitudes”

Work with your body awareness

The body is our tool to connect to our inner wisdom, our divine gift: that which gives us the duty to share with those we love.

Thoughts influence posture, breathing, our movements and especially our attitude towards those experiences that represent a barrier and that can leave an immensely rich teaching as a memento.

Our body marks the union of everything with ourselves. When we become aware of our body we can modify and vary the way we manage positive emotions.

Remember that your brain is a tool that allows you to change your attitude towards your own life experience in just seconds. Hence the importance of showing consciousness and respect for it. Keep in mind that to do this you must engage in physical exercise and eat healthily.

Meditate and calm your inner self

If you want to put a positive spin on your attitude, you will need to exercise control over your thoughts. The best tool is to learn to identify each of them. To do this, meditation is one of the best options: it will give you the gift of wholeness and inner serenity when it comes to controlling your thoughts.

So I recommend yoga, tai chi, pilates or breathing exercises that allow you to spend some time resting. Resting is crucial in order to feel calm and have a calm mind to put things in perspective.

Avoid using excuses as far a time is concerned, as this is one of the main barriers when performing such exercises. Remember that if you do not rest, you will gradually be more vulnerable to stress and fatigue. Take time to allow yourself to reflect on the “why” of your thoughts and it’s possible origin, so it can condition you.
